Welcome to Smiling Yoga
Latest updates:
- The updated class schedule for this period
- New workshop information is coming soon!
Hello, and welcome to my web site! My name is Eleana Kouneli and I teach Ashtanga Yoga in Athens Greece.
I would like to start by saying thank you for visiting my web site and, I hope you enjoy all the information and pictures featured here. I will update the site frequently with new and interesting information and strive to discover new parts of the practice each day. I trust you will leave with more information and answers than what you came with.
I strive to provide clear and precise information for the physical and theoretical part of the Ashtanga yoga practice, and have formed this web site as portal for communication and information sharing. If any questions arrise please do not hesitate to ask or write. There is a frequently asked questions portion to the site but new and interesting questions and information arise every day. Soon there will be a discussion section to the site where you can pose a question, and a qualified teacher will be able to answer it for you or others that may have the same inquiry. A link to videos, and other ashtanga Yoga forums will soon be added. Please check in from time to time to see our updates! Enjoy :)

The Path to Meditation and Samadhi (self realization) is described
as a single drop of water in a small bucket which then drops into a bathtub,
a small pond, a lake, a river and then into the vastness of the ocean.
